Small Gesture to Corporation workers

Everyone enjoys their work and has the ability to choose their job. However some people in society are required to participate in a profession because of their situations.

Work is Worship- Everyone in our country celebrates Saraswathi and Aayudha Pooja to honor their Profession. This Year Chandrans Yuva Foundation join hands with Coimbatore Corporation employees to honor their profession of cleaning up our society. Without them, our city will be filthy, they are the first people we see in the morning. We, Chandrans Yuva took the initiative to encourage and honour their profession. w e went to Coimbatore corporation office to take part in Saraswathi and Aayutha Poooja celebrations. Mrs.Shasikala Sathiyamurthy chairman of the Chandrans Yuva Foundation distributes some samll gifts to the corporation workers at the end of the Aayudha Pooja celebration. Never forget to look at the small things in society. The society requires appreciation and encouragement.

Joseph home for Aged & Destitute – Chettipalayam road , Coimbatore.

CHANDRANS YUVA FOUNDATION’S ISR RUN 2K22 (“A MARATHON TO ENCOURAGE THE DIFFERENTLYABLED”)

On 21st August 2022, We from Chandrans Yuva Foundation have Conducted ISR RUN 2022, “A RUN FOR THEM WITH THEM” to support the differentlyabled community. This marathon is first of its kind marathon where you can witness the cause of your run on the same day at the same stage. soon after the marathon we distributed all the beneficiaries required for differentlyabled community like blind glasses and canes for visually challenged, hearing aids for deaf, tricycles and wheelchair for handicapped people, vessels for transgender, education kit for underprivileged school children.

The ISR Marathon is about more than just finishing the race and improving your time. But there’s something else that draws people in. The event gives participants the opportunity to help differently abled people. ISR Marathon is an example of personal social responsibility. It all comes down to giving back to society.

The ISR Marathon began in the year 2018. The goal is to bridge the gap between differently abled people and the general public. ISR Marathon helps differently abled and disabled people in the community.

For the past five years, Chandran’s Yuva Foundation has organised the ISR MARATHON; but nevertheless, the marathons in 2020 and 2021 were cancelled because of covid lockdown. After two years, CYF MADE A BIG RETURN, with over 5000 people participating and witnessing the Run’s cause. The ISR marathon is everyone’s social responsibility; its goal is to help the differently abled community by encouraging them to achieve and give meaning to their lives.

Chandran’s Yuva Foundation held the ISR MARATHON – A Run for Differently Abled Community on Sunday, August 21, 2022, in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. This year’s event featured a famous Guinness Recorded Chef MR. Damodaran and Actor Azhar as chief guests. Mrs. Shashikala Sathyamoorthi, the Chairperson, honoured the Chief Guests. The founder of the SSVM Group of Institutions, Mrs.

Manimekalai Mohan, and S. Ramkumar, district governor of Lions Club International, were there to officially launch the Individual Social Responsibility (ISR) Marathon as well as the guest chef Mr. Damodaran.

The marathon was divided into four age categories: 1km, 3km, 5km, and 10km. Individuals with disabilities, school and college students, and ordinary citizens all took part. The disabled community took part in a wheelchair marathon around the VOC park grounds. Participants and winners were honoured and awarded certificates and medals at this large event. Beneficiaries received tricycles, wheelchairs, sewing machines, hearing aids, artificial limbs, and blind glasses.

One of the most important roles in our life is that of the doctor. We frequently hear that because of their ability to save lives, doctors are second God. Every year on July 1st, people celebrate “National Doctors’ Day” to honour their contributions. The occasion serves to remind people of the efforts and sacrifices made by medical professionals. we from Chandrans Yuva Foundation honour our super heroes on Doctor’s day July12022 by providing them an gift hampers made by our Visually Challenged People.

Stitching training to Anaikatti tribal womens

Skill development is mandatory for womens , especially for tribal womens it was difficult for them to attend classes or transportation. so our chandrans yuva foundation provides stitching training for them at their places to empower womens. we also provides free tailoring kit such as tape, scissors, threads, trimmers, bobbin cases, bobbins, needles, oil, clothes etc..By this they can create their own financial freedom

CORE GROUP MEETING

The meeting of the Core Group of our Foundation was held on the 13th February 2021 at Hashsix Hotel. The meeting was chaired by Mrs.S.Sashikala, Chairperson-Chandrans Yuva Foundation. And the meeting was attended by our core group members. In this meeting, our members stressed the need for more frequent interaction and better coordination of the efforts by our foundation. Our foundation initiating more skill development programs and bringing awareness to the people to help differently-abled people. Several initiatives were discussed in this core group meeting.

Certificate distribution for Kids

Chandrans Yuva Foundation organized competitions below 12 years children on various topics like drawing, singing, storytelling in the topic of “My Hero”.The children were asked to submit their works through WhatsApp.We always welcome such events which encourage children and involve them in such activities. Many children turned out to participate in the event. We had a prize distribution event for the competition participants. we distributed certificates for all the participants and prizes for the top 3 winners.

Advisory Meeting

An advisory committee is conducted by our Foundation which is a collection of individuals who bring unique knowledge and skills which augment the knowledge and skills of the formal board of directors in order to more effectively guide. Which provides non-binding strategic advice to the management of Chandrans Yuvanshankar foundation. The advisory board meeting was attended by Chandrans Yuva Foundation chairperson Ms.S.Sashikala, following Dr.Sri kumar,Mr.Sathguru,Mr. Michael,Mr.Selva kumar,Mr.Manikandan and Mr.Siva.

BLOOD DONATION

Chandrans          Yuva      Foundation organized a Blood  Donation  Camp. Many  people  who  donated  blood  in this camp were Mr.C.Santhosh is a Visually challenged person who also donated   blood.He   is    currently working in our Chandrans Yuva Foundation he says, “I take  each donation camp as my contribution to society  And  I  take  pride  in participating in such activities also he added ‘something in me forced me to volunteer  that  decision  changed  the way I looked at myself. I  no  longer felt handicapped. I was  able  to contribute  to  the  society   like   any other abled body person,” says Mr.C.Santhosh.

(MIND GEAR )LEARNING CLASSES FOR SCHOOL DROPPED OUT STUDENTS

Everyone deserves a good education Every year Thousands of children dropped out of schools in India due to poverty. Chandrans Yuva Foundation has come forward to take care of dropped-out students. Students from rural and remote areas attending classes at Chandrans Yuva foundation. Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it today.

YOGA SESSION TRAINING

Chandrans  Yuva  Foundation  initiated  a  daily  yoga class  for   visually   challenged   people,   differently- abled  people,  and  the  staff  working   in   the foundation. Yoga practice in  the  morning  helps  our body  to  relax  and  peaceful  mind.  This  yoga  session is  instructed  by  Mr. C.Santhosh who  is a visually challenged person and is  working        in   Our foundation.

BASKET   WEAVING WORKSHOP

Visually challenged  people  are  superhumans, they have done impossible things which perfect  Humans can’t do. How visually challenged people doing  this? only through practice. Chandrans Yuva Foundation conducted a training program  about  basket  weaving for the visually challenged person.  Through  this training program, encourages people to start their weaving business and manage their livelihood.

Chandrans yuva foundation Foundation directed a workshop for outwardly tested individuals on the preparation of sewing the edges and logos close by towel and shower towel by utilizing the force administrator and sewing machines.

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

The human spirit is one of ability, perseverance, and courage that no disability can steal away. In our Chandrans Yuva Foundation, in the month of February, we celebrated the birthday of Ms.Kavitha who is a visually challenged person. She has never celebrated her birthday since her Childhood so our Foundation decided to bring happiness to her, So we celebrated her birthday along with all our staff and distributed sweets and food with the grace of joy.

Diwali Free Cloth Distribution at CYF

Honourable coimbatore IAS official K.Rajamani, visited Chandrans Yuva establishment to appropriate New garments and school sacks to sanitary workers, underprivileged people and visually challenged people’s family as a diwali celebration, This occasion is directed under the social distances.

DIWALI CLOTH DISRIBUTION @TIRUPUR

Clothing is the basic need of common people. Many among India’s poor and underprivileged lack adequate clothing. Chandran Yuva foundation takes a step to provide clothes to the Children in Universal peace foundation which is located in Tirupur. Mainly clothes are sorted out according to size, gender and type. Getting the clothes, the children got so happy and we can see that happiness in their eyes also. They changed clothes to new ones and shouted to one other with full of happiness that “I got a new dress”. The Team Yuva foundation also got happy to see the big smile on the faces of the children.

Among the major contributory variables for spread of occasional and vector-borne illnesses in the zone of Aanaikatti particularly the youngsters, to mosquito chomp as their bodies are not covered appropriately with garments. Chandran Yuva Foundation distributed the total new garments to more than 200 living families in Aanaikatti ancestral and rustic regions.

Through this training it encourages the women to begin a home made cooking business like home- made cakes and biscuits which assists with running their livelihood.

A candles and lights loses nothing by lighting another candle. Diwali, karthigai deepam and christmas is the ideal time for it. We anticipate raising more for this reason. Chandran yuva foundation led a training program for blindly challenged people to make lights and candle. Through this program it urges them to begin a little candle variety of things to push along their livehood.Their world is dim however they strives to illuminate our reality.

Food Distribution to Sanitary Cleaning Workers | World Food Day

Behalf on world food day CYF prepared a wholesome meal at its own kitchen hygienically to distribute them to all the sanitary worker CYF is the first priority is to bring smile in every deprived soul.

On this auspicious day member & directors of CYF are gathered up to celebrate the pooja with spiritually. Pooja gifts were also distributed to the visually challenged and differently abled staff of CYF. Later on soul food were given on lunch to all the people gathered.

FIGHT CANCER “Prevention is better than cure” Breast Cancer Awareness Programme by Girlup Team

As October month manifests the awareness for Cancer. Chandrans Yuva Foundation with FICCI and Girl-Up- Fembots (United Nations) conducted an awareness programme on Breast Cancer.The necessary steps and precautions to be taken to  deduct  the cancer at the early stage were a real eye- opener to each and every women whether literate or illiterate, Urban or Tribal or Under-priviledged, it brought acute perception among everyone.

GirlUp Organisation

Girlup Organization is an initiative of the United Nations Foundations and here they are focusing on providing informed awareness for Breast Cancer in Rural and Tribal Villages and remote places. Do encourage their activities and cause which is provided in this column.

SHE INITIATIVE

CYF focus its main priority on women empowerment and upliftment in their lives. Likewise it conducted a program on girl child hygiene awareness (SHE) to educate each and every girl child to follow cleanliness for her future well being. The out source of this program is to reach well to the tribal people under privileged people where hygiene in a stay.
