Bike rally

In accordance with the72 and REPUBLIC DAY Chandrans Yuva Foundation, Coimbatore organised an ALL WOMEN BIKE RALLY supporting the most pressing cause of girl child education and women empowerment. The event took off with women 40 bike riders as part of we femmes an initiative by Chandrans Yuva Foundation. The event was headed by Mr.Narayanan Mani MD-Messer cutting and our WE FEMMES ambassador Mrs.Rithisha Nivedha Mrs.South Asia and an ambassador. Both of these eminent dignitaries graced the occassion by hoisting the flag and flag offing the ceremony. The women rider carried flags spreading messages of women empowerment, supporting the significant cause. When you educate a girl you educate a nation this was the driving factor of the rally till Pollachi. young girls you came to witness this rally were awed by these empowered women. Chandrans yuva foundation is dedicated to help women in this society. The right way to make this dream a reality is to help women from the grass root gain quality education. Chandrans yuva have helped women empowerment with the installation of free sanitary vending machines in public bus stand and government hospitals and other public places alongside the placing of breast feeding pods change starts from your home this Republic day let’s all join hands to make all women empowerment a reality. Pongal Celebration

Pongal is harvest festival, a traditional thanks giving occassion to nature. Pongal is celebrated with joy in our foundation with community members like rural women, children,visually challenged, differently abled community and children’s performed various kinds of activities during pongal festival. It gives a good opportunity to our team in collecting information about pongal festival. Pongal was made by cooking rice in an earthen pot at the court yard in traditional form. Firstly pongal celebration started with guru pooja followed by colourful presentations of cultural programmes by CYF team it includes traditional dance, poems and songs. Thereafter traditional games mark pongal celebration in our foundation. our visually challenged Santhosh anna member conducted games and traditional activities in our foundation. Kolam(floral art), tie flower in string, decorate pongal pot and poem declaration are held as part of pongal celebration in our foundation. Everyone participated enthusiastically in all activities to promote pongal festival among community. It gives opportunity for team to cherish our culture and traditions.

Pongal celebration at Topslip tribal village

With a mission to improve the livelihood of tribal community living in the deep in skirts of Anamalai tiger reserve(ATR). Chandrans yuva foundation along with the tamilnadu police department jointly conductucted on account of pongal celebration and chandrans yuva foundation conducted a tribal welfare camp in kolikamuthi village to distribute essential commodities like vegetable, blanket and most importantly provide education kit to the tribal children. We provided the education kit which included school bags, note books, pencils and exam board along with study chairs. the chief guest of the event Thiru K Prriaiah I.P.S,IG of police west zone coimbatore graced the ceremony and encouraged the children to study and acquire government posts. The distribution of school kits and dresses were accompanied by SP Thiru .Ara Arularasu, KG and DSP Thiru Vivekanandan pollachi and GS Anitha ADSP were also present in the camp. Through this camp the importance of education where imparted to the schedule tribes. Chandrans yuva foundation have pledged to help the children’s gain access to higher education after 8th std these childrens have to travel to other village to gain higher education chandrans yuva foundation have promised to provide free education after 8th std, by providing free shelter until college education and also help them to secure job opportunity to improve their livelihood in the future. This mission of Chandrans yuva were praised by Thiru K Periaiah IG.

Objectives of Chandrans Yuva Foundation skill development centre

The main goal is to create opportunities, space and scope for the development of the talents of underprivileged. The new programme aims aims at providing training and skill development to 1000 to 1200 rural women, transgenders & differently abled community, covering each and everysectors. The main objective of the skill India programme is to provide adequate training in market relevant skills to over 1000+ underprivileged by 2021. It also aims to create opportunities for the development of talent within the country and improve the overall scope and space for underdeveloped sectors. The emphasis is to skill the above said community in such a way so that they get employment and also improve entrepreneurship, provides training, support and guidance for all occupations that were of traditional type like tailors,baking, sapling growing, agricultural farming, spoking english, basic computer knowledge etc Another remarkable feature of the skill development programme would be to create a hallmark called “Rural India Skill”, so as to standardise and certify the training process. Tailor made, need based programmes would be initiated for specific age groups which can be like language and communication skills, life and positive thinking skills, personality development skills, management skills, behavioural skills including job and employability skills. The course methodology of Chandrans yuva foundation skill development center would be innovative, which would include games, group discussions, brainstorming sessions, practical experience, case studies etc

Cloth donation

The significant way of creating a powerful nation is through education to make India a super nation lies in the hands of our younger generation. Unfortunately every year 1000s of students are not privileged to gain basic access to education. Chandrans Yuva foundation through Mind Gear are transforming the lives of our younger generation by providing free education, accomodation and food to students from tribal and rural areas. Through our initiative Mind Gear Chandrans yuva foundation are giving a fair chance to these children for a better and brighter future. In the Kozhikamuthi village as the child’s school are closed and everything is moved to remote school to encourage the students to study better Chandrans yuva foundation distributed school kits and study chairs to 30+ childrens living in that village.

Through wagon of care new cloths are donated every month to the underpriviliged communities. Last month the childrens of holy committee Kozhikamuthi where distributed new shirts, pants and frocks to celebrate pongal

Yoga Session Training

The practice of yoga helps controlling the individual mind body and soul emphasising the vitality of yoga. We at Chandrans Yuva Foundation have made a pledge towards the holistic development of visually challenged and differently abled people. The yoga classes along with laugh therapy and medidation held daily in yoga studio build in Chandrans yuva foundation. The yoga session instructed by Mr.C.Santhosh who himself is a visually challenged person who leads these yoga classes held daily from 9Am to 10Am.

GO GREEN

A step closer towards planting 12 lakh trees. Every month Chandrans yuva foundation thrives to plant atleast 200 new Saplings every month. No dream is achieved by a single men vision to spread this dream wide accross and to instill environment responsibilities we gave free saplings of native trees and herbs found in Tamilnadu like Poonai Meesai, Nilavembu and Adathoda where distributed at PVR cinemas coimbatore ringing the auspicious tamil new year through environmentally conscious initiative #Go Green.
